Overview

About This Trek

The Bunbuni Pass trek is a lesser-known route that takes you above the treeline and connects to Kheerganga from above. Starting from Barshaini or Kalga village, the trail climbs steeply through dense forests of deodar and oak before emerging into open slopes with wide views across the Parvati Valley. The pass itself sits at around 3,700 m. From there, you descend to Kheerganga to soak in the natural hot water springs before walking back down to Barshaini. It's a more challenging alternative to the standard Kheerganga trail and far less crowded.
